Abraham Lab members study a wide range of topics and regularly take part in community engagement and outreach. Project topics are generally in plant ecology or biology education but have included agroecology, childhood nutrition, food safety, and waste diversion. This work takes place on campus in labs and greenhouses, in local field sites, and in partnership with community institutions and organizations, including schools and community gardens. While the Abraham Lab members may change year to year, one truth has remained: the Abraham Lab rules and our lab space, lacking windows, couches, and ping pong tables...well, it kind of drools.
